Wouldn't Anarchist Mutualism be more of a economic concept?

I believe so, but it intertwines with some anarchist philosophy.

Not necessarily. After a syndicalist system is imposed, the transition from Anarcho Syndicalism to Anarcho Communism would be a lot easer (than for example, capitalism to anarcho communism).
