[VOTE] Chatbox

I noticed how that the chatbox at the bottom of the forum was inactive and I was wondering whether it should be placed at the top of the forum or not.
If you chose to keep it at the bottom, remember that you can access it easier in our portal.

My vote is OTHER and the reason I vote that is for more people to use the portal, for it also contains other useful information.

I think that the chatbox only serves the purpose to take attention away from the forum.
And forum posts happen regardless of time, which is why they are so great.
Now the chatbox is just category-less spamming.
Great if we were allowed to spam.

I think it should go to the top. Otherwise people may not even know it exists. Also, if it is at the top, it makes it easier to notice when someone has said something that needs reply. Because if people are trying to post and chat (as i do), it is easy to forget that you are still in chat, but if its at the top, then you'll be reminded when you go back to the home page of the site.

I vote other for the portal - so that people can see current voting results new comment additions or see whatever videos are on.

I hope to add a wider range of videos to the portal and change them around on a more frequent basis.

^^ But you can only see that when you're not logged in. Is there any way to get it to stay after you log in? If so, then i guess the chat-box should stay at the bottom.

well it's a tie, so no one is 'ruling' yet.
Maybe we can get rid of it altogether.
The off-topic is for this.
Or maybe we can make a Skype Public Chat or MSN or soemthing

The Chatbox is for chatting, where your post count doesn't go up. Your post count goes up in Off Topic, so it should at least be meaningful.
